tickets &

wristbands

Q: How does it work?

A: Tickets can be purchased online at readysetride.com.au or through Megatix from the 2nd June 9am WST (Priority Access Discount Sale).

Upon arrival, visit the Box Office at the Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre. Our friendly staff will scan your ticket and issue your Unlimited Rides Wristband or Spectator Entry pass. You can redeem your ticket up to 30 minutes before your session start time. All patrons must have either an Unlimited Rides Wristband or a Spectator Entry pass to enter the event.

Q: What is an Unlimited Rides Wristband?

A: Your Unlimited Rides Wristband is your all-access pass to every carnival ride at Ready, Set, Ride! Wear it for the full duration of your chosen 2-hour session and hop on and off every ride as many times as you like - no tokens, no coupons, no stopping until your time is up.

Q: What is the difference between an Unlimited Rides Wristband and a Spectator Entry ticket?

A: An Unlimited Rides Wristband gives you unlimited access to all carnival rides for your chosen 2-hour session. A Spectator Entry ticket is an entry-only pass - it gets you into the venue to enjoy the atmosphere, but does not include ride access. Spectator Entry ticket holders can purchase ride tokens on the day if they wish to join in on the rides.

Q: What is a Spectator Ticket?

A: A Spectator ticket gets someone into the event without a rides wristband. They do not include rides. But they can come inside, soak up the carnival, play sideshow games, snap the photos, hold the showbags, eat the fairy floss - just no rides (additional activities are pay per use).

Perfect for:

→ Parents watching the kids ride

→ Bringing grandparents along for the day

→ The mate who's strictly there for the popcorn

→ Anyone who'd rather cheer from the sidelines

One thing to know: Spectator tickets can only be purchased together with an Unlimited Rides Wristband - they're an add-on, not a standalone entry.

Q: Can I buy a Spectator Ticket on it’s own?

A: Nope! Spectator tickets are only available when you're also buying an Unlimited Rides Wristband. Think of them as a +1 - they tag along, they don't fly solo.

Why? Spectator entry is designed for the grown-up (or non-rider) accompanying someone who's there to ride. This is for both safety and capacity restrictions.

Q: What session times are available?

A: Ready, Set, Ride! runs multiple 2-hour sessions every day from 4th–19th July 2026. Sessions are as follows:

Session 1: 8:30am – 10:30am

Session 2: 10:30am – 12:30pm

Session 4: 2:30pm – 4:30pm

Session 5: 4:30pm – 6:30pm (available on 10th, 11th, 17th & 18th July only)

Q: What is a session?
A: A session is a 2-hour time slot during which your Unlimited Rides Wristband is valid. Each session has a set start and end time, and you can ride any carnival ride as many times as you like for until your session time runs out.

Q: What hapens when my session ends?

A: When your 2-hour session ends, your Unlimited Rides Wristband is no longer valid for rides. However, you are welcome to stay and enjoy the venue until we close. If the kids still have energy to burn, you can purchase ride tokens or buy another wristband to continue riding, subject to availability.

Sessions that finish at 6:30pm, will still be required to leave at 6:30pm. Ready, Set, RIDE! closes explicitly at 6:30pm on the 10,11,17 and 18th July.

Q: What if my session finishes at 4:30pm, can I stay longer?

A: No, the event closes at 4:30pm. If you have booked a 2:30pm–4:30pm Unlimited Rides session, access concludes at 4:30pm and additional ride time is not permitted.

However, guests booked on a 2:30pm Session are welcome to arrive up to 60 minutes earlier to enjoy the other attractions before their Unlimited Rides session begins at 2:30pm.

Q: What if my session finishes at 6:30pm, can I stay longer? (Applies only to the 10, 11, 17 and 18th July).

A: No problem - we prefer digital tickets. Simply have the QR code clearly visible on your phone screen. Please ensure your screen brightness is turned up and your screen is not cracked or damaged in a way that prevents scanning.

Do the children have to use the Unlimited Wristbands?
The Family Pass includes 2 wristbands + 2 spectator entries, for 4 people total.

Most families go with 2 adults watching and 2 kids riding, but you're welcome to mix it up—for example, a teen who'd rather hang back with snacks while a younger sibling rides with mum works just as well.

Just note: who gets which ticket needs to be decided before you enter, as wristbands are fitted to the riders at the Box Office.

What if I have more than 2 kids that want to ride (3kids+)?
Grab the Family Pass and add an additional Unlimited Rides Wristband at checkout. Still the best per-person value.

Do all 4 people on the Family Pass have to enter together?
You'll be issued the 4 tickets in the family pass (2 Unlimited Ride Wristbands and 2 Spectator Entris) that are tied to one booking, so you need to all enter at the same time. Once you enter the venue however, you can move around freely.

Are infants/toddlers free, or do they count as one of the 4 people?
Children under 2 enter free, but no other inclusions apply. If your under-2 wants to go on the rides, you'll need to purchase tokens or a wristband for those activities. Sideshow Games can also be paid for with tokens.

Please note: most of our rides are not suitable for children aged 2 and under due to height restrictions. If you buy an Unlimited Rides Wristband for a child aged 2 or under and they're unable to use the rides, you won't be entitled to a refund.

You can check height restrictions on our Rides & Attractions page here.

Can we use it for a sensory-friendly session?
Yes!

Can I swap a spectator entry ticket for a third Unlimited Ride Wristband?
No, not within the Family Pass. As that is strictly valid for 2 Unlimited Ride Wristbands and 2 Spectator Entry’s only.

You can however buy an extra Unlimited Rides Wristband separately, whilst your are making a purchase online.

Can I swap a Unlimited Rides Wristband for a spectator entry?
No, not within the Family Pass. As that is strictly valid for 2 Unlimited Ride Wristbands and 2 Spectator Entry’s only.

You can however buy an extra Spectator entry separately, whilst your are making a purchase online.

Does everyone need to be related?
No- the people in the Family Pass don’t have to be related. You decide who uses the 2 Unlimited Rides Wristbands and 2 Spectator Passes.

That could be four mates, two parents with a niece and nephew, a blended family, or grandparents with grandkids -whatever works for you. The only rule is that it covers 4 people in total.

Can I use my family pass for 3 kids and 1adults?
Yes, you can! Just note that the Family Pass includes 2 Unlimited Rides Wristbands and 2 Spectator Entry passes -so with three kids, one will need to enter as a spectator.

This works well if you've got a younger child who prefers sideshow games or the odd single ride, which you can pay for separately with a token package. And spectators still get full access to the roving performers and the resident DJ!

Can I use my Companion Card?
Companion Card holders enter for free only, even on top of the Family Pass.

Can we share or swap the Unlimited Wristbands during the session?
No, wristbands are non-transferable. Once a wristband is secured on a wrist, it cannot be taken off and shared with another person.
