Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before purchasing a ticket or attending the event. By purchasing a ticket or entering the event, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions in full.
1. GENERAL
1.1 These Terms and Conditions apply to all tickets purchased for Ready, Set, Ride! (the "Event") and to all persons who attend the Event ("Patrons").
1.2 The Event is organised and operated by Carnival Amusements (Marinovich Family Trust) ABN [FILL IN] ("the Organiser"). Tickets are sold through Megatix as the authorised ticketing agent ("Ticketing Agent").
1.3 By purchasing a ticket or entering the Event, you agree to comply with these Terms and Conditions, the Venue's conditions of entry, and any reasonable directions given by the Organiser, its staff, or authorised representatives.
1.4 The Organiser reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time without notice. The current version will be published at readysetride.com.au.
2. TICKETS
2.1 All tickets must be purchased in advance online at readysetride.com.au via our authorised Ticketing Agent, Megatix, or at the Box Office on the day subject to availability.
2.2 Each ticket is valid for one (1) patron for one (1) nominated session only. Tickets are non-transferable between sessions.
2.3 A ticket constitutes a revocable licence to attend the Event for the nominated session. The Organiser reserves the right to refuse or revoke admission at any time without refund where a Patron has breached these Terms and Conditions or the Venue's conditions of entry.
2.4 Tickets must be presented at the Box Office in digital or printed form. The QR code on your ticket must be clearly visible and scannable. The Organiser accepts no responsibility for tickets that cannot be scanned due to damage, low screen brightness, or other technical issues on the Patron's device.
2.5 Tickets are issued subject to the terms and conditions of Megatix. The Organiser is not responsible for any issues arising from the Megatix platform, including but not limited to payment errors, delivery failures, or account issues.
2.6 Booking fees charged by Megatix are non-refundable in all circumstances, including in the event of cancellation or postponement.
2.7 The Organiser reserves the right to limit the number of tickets purchased per transaction or per person.
2.8 Tickets may not be on-sold, resold, or offered for resale at a price above face value. Any ticket obtained through unauthorised resale may be cancelled without refund and the holder refused entry.
2.9 Children under 3 years of age are admitted free of charge and do not require a ticket- no inclusions will apply. All children aged 3 years and above must hold a valid ticket or pass to enter the Event.
3. SESSION TIMES & ENTRY
3.1 The Event operates across multiple timed sessions each day. Each session runs for two (2) hours. Session times are as listed on the website and on your ticket at the time of purchase.
3.2 The Box Office opens 30 minutes prior to each session start time. Patrons are encouraged to arrive at least 20–30 minutes before their session to allow time for Box Office collection and entry.
3.3 Late arrival will not entitle a Patron to any extension of their session time. No refunds or exchanges will be provided to Patrons who arrive late to their nominated session.
3.4 Re-entry to the Event during a session is not permitted subject to the Organiser's discretion at the time of the event.
3.5 Once a Patron's session expires, their Unlimited Rides Wristband is no longer valid for carnival rides. Patrons may remain in the venue until closing time at the Organiser's discretion.
4. TICKET TYPES
4.1 Unlimited Rides Wristband: Entitles the holder to unlimited access to all carnival rides during their nominated 2-hour session. The wristband must be worn at all times and produced upon request by Event staff.
4.2 Spectator Entry: Entitles the holder to general entry to the Event for their nominated session. Spectator Entry does not include access to carnival rides. Ride tokens may be purchased separately at the venue on the day.
4.3 Sideshow games, arcade games, showbags, popcorn, fairy floss, and food purchases are not included in either ticket type and are available for separate purchase.
5. REFUNDS & EXCHANGES
5.1 Except as required by law, including the Australian Consumer Law, tickets are non-refundable and non-exchangeable once purchased.
5.2 No refunds will be provided for change of mind, mistaken purchases, inability to attend, adverse weather conditions (noting the Event is fully indoors), or any other change in the Patron's personal circumstances.
5.3 No refunds will be provided where a Patron arrives late to their session or where a Patron is refused entry or ejected from the Event due to breach of these Terms and Conditions or the Venue's conditions of entry.
5.4 No refunds will be provided where a Patron does not meet the height or weight requirements of a carnival ride.
5.5 Cancelled or postponed events: If the Event is cancelled by the Organiser and cannot be rescheduled, the Organiser will offer a refund of the face value of the ticket, excluding booking fees. The Organiser will not be liable for any travel, accommodation, or other expenses incurred by the Patron in connection with a cancelled event.
5.6 Postponed events: If the Event is postponed, the Organiser will endeavour to provide ticket holders with the option to attend the rescheduled event or receive a credit or refund at the Organiser's discretion.
5.7 Nothing in these Terms and Conditions is intended to limit or exclude any rights under the Australian Consumer Law or the Competition and Consumer Act 2010.
6. HEALTH, SAFETY & CONDUCT
6.1 All Patrons must comply with the Venue's health and safety requirements and any reasonable directions given by the Organiser, Event staff, or Venue management at all times.
6.2 The Organiser reserves the right to refuse entry to, or eject from the Event, any Patron who:
is intoxicated or under the influence of drugs;
behaves in a disorderly, aggressive, offensive, or abusive manner;
fails to comply with these Terms and Conditions or the Venue's conditions of entry;
poses a risk to the safety or wellbeing of other Patrons or staff.
6.3 No refund will be provided to any Patron who is refused entry or ejected from the Event for any of the reasons listed in clause 6.2.
6.4 Patrons must not engage in behaviour that is dangerous, disruptive, or likely to cause injury to themselves or others, including on or around carnival rides and attractions.
6.5 The consumption of alcohol is [permitted / not permitted — FILL IN] at the Event.
6.6 Smoking and vaping are not permitted inside the venue.
7. CARNIVAL RIDES & ATTRACTIONS
7.1 All carnival rides are operated in accordance with applicable Australian safety standards and regulations.
7.2 Some carnival rides have minimum height requirements, maximum height requirements, and/or weight restrictions. Patrons must comply with all ride restrictions as displayed at each ride and as listed on the Event website. No refunds will be provided where a Patron does not meet the requirements of a ride.
7.3 Patrons ride all carnival rides at their own risk. The Organiser strongly recommends that Patrons with pre-existing medical conditions, including but not limited to heart conditions, back or neck injuries, epilepsy, or pregnancy, consult a medical professional before riding.
7.4 Ride operators have the authority to refuse a Patron access to a ride at any time if they reasonably believe that the Patron's safety or the safety of others may be at risk.
7.5 Wristbands must be worn correctly at all times during the session and must not be tampered with, transferred, or reproduced. Any tampered or fraudulent wristband will be void and the holder refused access to rides without refund.
8. PROHIBITED ITEMS
The following items are strictly prohibited at the Event:
Weapons of any kind
Glass bottles or containers
Illegal substances
Professional cameras or recording equipment (without prior written approval from the Organiser)
Drones or unmanned aerial vehicles
Any other item deemed dangerous or unsuitable by the Organiser or Venue management
The Organiser and Venue reserve the right to conduct bag checks upon entry. Prohibited items will be confiscated and will not be returned.
9. PHOTOGRAPHY & RECORDING
9.1 By attending the Event, Patrons consent to being filmed, photographed, or recorded by the Organiser or its authorised media partners for promotional, marketing, and commercial purposes.
9.2 Patrons may take personal photos and videos for private, non-commercial use only. Commercial photography or recording of the Event is not permitted without prior written approval from the Organiser.
9.3 Patrons must not photograph or record other patrons without their consent.
10. LIABILITY
10.1 To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Organiser excludes all liability for any loss, injury, damage, or expense suffered or incurred by any Patron arising out of or in connection with their attendance at the Event, including but not limited to personal injury, loss or theft of personal property, or any dissatisfaction with the Event.
10.2 The Organiser is not responsible for any personal property brought to the Event. Patrons are encouraged to leave valuables at home.
10.3 Where liability cannot be excluded by law, including under the Australian Consumer Law, the maximum liability of the Organiser to any Patron is limited to the face value of the ticket purchased.
10.4 Nothing in these Terms and Conditions excludes or limits the Organiser's liability for death or personal injury caused by the Organiser's negligence.
11. PRIVACY
11.1 The Organiser collects personal information from Patrons for the purpose of ticketing, event operations, marketing, and communications. Personal information is handled in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Organiser's Privacy Policy, available at readysetride.com.au.
11.2 By purchasing a ticket, Patrons consent to receiving marketing communications from the Organiser. Patrons may opt out at any time by following the unsubscribe link in any communication or by contacting the Organiser directly.
12. ACCESSIBILITY
12.1 The Organiser is committed to providing an accessible and inclusive event experience. Patrons requiring accessibility assistance are encouraged to contact the Organiser.
12.2 NDIS Companion Cards are accepted at the Event. The Companion Card must be presented at the Box Office alongside the paying Patron. Companion Card entry passes will be issued at the event. Patrons must not purchase an additional ticket online for a companion where a Companion Card will be used.
13. FORCE MAJEURE
13.1 The Organiser will not be liable for any failure or delay in performing its obligations under these Terms and Conditions where such failure or delay is caused by circumstances beyond the Organiser's reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, natural disasters, government directives, pandemics, or civil unrest.
13.2 In such circumstances, the Organiser will endeavour to notify Patrons as soon as reasonably practicable and will advise of any options available, including rescheduling or refunds, at its reasonable discretion.
14. GOVERNING LAW
14.1 These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Western Australia, Australia. Any disputes arising from these Terms and Conditions will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Western Australia.
